Travel Head

I have a medical condition known as Travel Head. It is not life threatening, though it can be expensive to treat. All the treatment locations are far from home and the best ones are overseas. Insurance generally does not cover this condition because it tends to be caused by work related stressors.

Travel Head patients often experience feelings of euphoria and see and hear amazing new and interesting things. Often, when people are in the throes of Travel Head, they cannot understand the spoken words of those around them, and also seem to speak gibberish themselves, although some people claim to be able to interpret what the Travel Head victim is saying, albeit roughly.

The onset of Travel Head is predictable, but the condition usually becomes acute a few days prior to treatment, making productivity at work drop significantly. After treatment, I am usually in remission for 4-6 months before I need to treat it again.
